This FBI Investigation Involving The Democrats Just Got Way Worse

From: American Patriot Daily

Congress was rocked by the bombshell revelation of an FBI investigation into IT staffers working with Democrats who worked on the House Intelligence Committee.

Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan are brothers of Pakistani descent and were accused of stealing sensitive data and hardware.

And now a disturbing connection to terrorism has emerged.

Reports are surfacing that the brothers owed $100,000 to an Iraqi politician with links to the terrorist group Hezbollah.

The Daily Caller reported:
Congressional aides suspected of criminally misusing their access to House computer systems owed $100,000 to an Iraqi politician who is wanted by U.S. authorities and has been linked to Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Middle Eastern terrorist outfit.
Imran Awan and four of his relatives were employed as information technology (IT) aides by dozens of House Democrats, including members of the intelligence, foreign affairs, and homeland security committees. The aides’ administrator-level IT access was terminated earlier this month amid a criminal probe by U.S. Capitol Police of a suspected security breach, including an off-site server housing congressional data.
The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has reported that while working for Congress, the Pakistani brothers controlled a limited liability corporation called Cars International A (CIA), a car dealership with odd finances, which took – and was unable to repay – a $100,000 loan from Dr. Ali Al-Attar.
Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer, wrote that Attar “was observed in Beirut, Lebanon conversing with a Hezbollah official” in 2012 – shortly after the loan was made. Attar has also been accused of helping provoke the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq as a leader of Iraqi dissidents opposed to Saddam Hussein.
American Patriot Daily previously reported, although the brothers were under criminal investigation, they were still employed by some Democrats.

The Democrats who employed the brothers sat on key committees such as Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Homeland Security.

This allowed them access to a trove of sensitive information.

Was the theft an attempt to pay off a debt?

The brothers were in severe financial difficulties as The Daily Caller previously reported:
The Daily Caller also reports that two of them faced serious financial difficulties, which could have created pressure on them to compromise sensitive information.
Signs of trouble have long been visible in public records. The Congressional Credit Union repossessed Abid’s car in 2009, and he declared bankruptcy in 2012, facing multiple lawsuits.
Alvi, who did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment, has taken multiple second mortgages.
Security-sensitive jobs typically require background checks for credit and legal problems that can create pressures to cash in on access to secret information and documents.
Jamal, who public records suggest is only 22 years old and first began working in the House when he was 20, was paid nearly $160,000 a year, or three times the average House IT staff salary, according to InsideGov, which tracks congressional salaries. Abid was paid $161,000 and Imran $165,000.

God bless,
